Sales Manager – Ocean Freight / Air Freight
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth across assigned accounts.
The role will include:

Identifying and acquiring new customers while expanding business opportunities within existing accounts.

Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets.

Building strong customer relationships through a deep understanding of customer business requirements and supply chain needs.

Converting prospects into long-term customers through consultative selling and solution-based engagement.

Managing and growing a portfolio of strategic and key accounts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling MOL Logistics' integrated logistics solutions.

Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to strengthen the company's competitive position.

Collaborating closely with pricing, operations, customer service, and product teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.

Preparing sales forecasts, pipeline reports, customer performance reviews, and business development plans.

Supporting RFQs, tenders, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions with customers.

Maintaining regular engagement with customers through meetings, reviews, and joint business planning sessions.

Driving continuous improvement in customer service standards and ensuring timely resolution of customer concerns.
Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.

4–10 years of experience in Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain sales.

Proven track record in business development and account management.

Strong understanding of international freight forwarding and logistics solutions.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities.

Ability to build relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working in a dynamic business environment.
