MOL (India) Private Limited is the representative company of the MOL Group in India, supporting the Group's business development and strengthening customer engagement across the Indian market.
The MOL Group's presence in India dates back more than a century. In 1912, Osaka Shosen Kaisha, one of MOL's predecessor companies, established its Bombay Representative Office, followed by the launch of a regular Kobe-Bombay service in 1913. Since then, the Group has continuously expanded its activities in India, contributing to the development of maritime transportation and logistics services while building long-standing relationships with customers and business partners across the country.
Over the years, the MOL Group's business in India has expanded beyond traditional shipping activities to encompass a diverse range of sectors, including logistics, automotive logistics, LNG transportation, maritime services, information technology, and business process support. Today, these activities are supported through close collaboration across the Group's companies and business units in India.
